Lennan had two witnesses appear to testify to the relationship between Jarrau and Dorotea which he sends to Penalver. Jarru is unable to appear in Penalver's court because he is the only son his father has to help him with his harvest.

Lennan summoned Simon Croyze, majordomo of the church of Punta Cortada and Pedro Giuio(?) who swore that Jarrau and Dorotea were related in the third degree since their mothers were cousins and that Dorotea's mother died two years ago and her father is poor. Croyze signs as S(imon) Croizet and Giuio as P(ierre) Guilhot(?).
