to Father Theodoro Thirso Henrique Henriquez, (vicar and
ecclesiastical judge of Louisiana)
In view of the reasons given by Henriquez in his letter of
June 28, Carondelet has informed Francisco Bouligny, colonel that
Father Jose de Villaprovedo (O.M.Cap.) has been removed from the
chaplaincy of his regiment and Father Bernardo de Deva,
(O.M.Cap.) named in his place.
