The Minister of Justice, Don Eugenio Llaguno, writes as follows in his letter of April 15 last. In accordance with the legal action brought by Father Joaquin de Portillo, (O.M.Cap.) regarding the rent of a house, His Majesty (Charles IV, King of Spain) has decided that the 500 pesos rent up to July, 1792, be paid. Let the two houses that belonged to Father Antonio de Sedella (O.M.Cap.) and Josef de Xerez (O.M.Cap.) be rebuilt so that the Capuchins may use them until Don Andres Almonester (y Roxas) builds the mission house according to his offer.
