ST. MARY'S. NOTRE DAME

"Father Letourneau, superior of the Brothers at St.. Mary's, eats with them to assure advantages of community life."

"On the 10th of May I visited this establishment, consisting of 7 Brothers, under the direction of Father L. Letourneau, Chaplain of the Sisters. All the Brothers who work there for the Sisters are animated by a good spirit and seem very well contented. They keep their Rule and live quite retired...." A. Granger, C.S.C. 1869.

"It was resolved that we should replace the hired men at St. Mary's by some Brothers from here."
