Since Baron (Francisco Luis Hector) de Carondelet in his letter of the 29th has pointed out the necessity of a priest to assist with the troops destined for Nogales, notwithstanding the trouble(?) of Father Gregory White, Penalver gives orders in the meantime for the administration of the Sacraments of Penance, the Eucharist and Extreme Unction to the troops, their dependents and the neighborhood.
