He is the son of Esteban Herbert and Magdalena Landry, daughter of Magdalena Melanzon and Simon Landry, son of Jose Landry, son of another Jose Landry. His fiancee is also a native and resident of the same parish, daughter of Pedro Ribert and Maria Josefa Brau, daughter of Pedro Brau and Margarita Landry, daughter of Jose Landry, son of Jose Landry. By this marriage Narciso could give better care to his father who is old and insane and he has eight brothers and sisters, the oldest being nine. Also Acadians wish to marry among themselves. D.
