Morales, majordomo of the Cathedral, sends attached the accounts in his charge. The six pages show that the credits amount to 3,861 pesos, 1 real and the debits to 855 pesos, 7 1/2 reales, leaving at the end of the year 3,005 pesos, 1 1/2 reales. He asks that after examination (Hassett) send him the settlement.

There follow 20 pages of itemized accounts of the receipts and expenditures signed by Morales and dated December 31, 1802. There is also a folder of 16 signed receipts including one signed by Fran(cis)ca Salazar for 100 pesos for a portrait of Bishop Luis de Penalver (y Cardenas). All the receipts are countersigned by Father Antonio (de Sedella).
