He has received a communication from (Francisco Luis Hector) Baron de Carondelet, governor of Louisiana accompanied by a copy of the royal order of Dec. 16 last stipulating that the vicars, pastors and others in charge of the care of souls observe carefully and see to it that their parishioners obey the instructions of November 30 of the same year. He asked to be informed when this order is carried out.
