Broussard, Jean Baptiste, Broussard, Joseph
to Father (Antonio de Sedella vicar and ecclesiastical judge
of Louisiana) Seven months ago their children went to the Hotel des Pieux to be married, but the priest found them related. They then asked Father Bernard (de Deva, O.M.Cap.) to write to the bishop but have not yet received an answer. They ask Sedella either to dispense or write to the bishop for a dispensation alleging as reasons the friendship of the couple and the danger to the honor of the families. P.S. Jean Baptiste Broussard explains the relationship between the young people.
