Quintero, Father Isidro Josefa Aleman, a native of Aguimes in the Canary Islands and a resident of La Fourche, married Jose Garcia Moreno, a native of Mansanares of La Mancha, in La Fourche before Father Angel de Revillagodos, (O.M.Cap.) on February 22, 1784. She has been informed that her husband is living in Coramaluapan in the Diocese of Puebla de Los Angeles where he intends to marry. She asks (Penalver) to send a letter to the bishop, his vicar-general, or the pastor, who is Father Jose Lara, so that the second marriage is not allowed and that he may be sent back to fulfill his duties. Quintero adds in a note in the margin that the petitioner presented herself but did not know how to sign. D.S. (Spanish)
