1799 (Sep. 19) Gaudeau, (Pierre) Dispensation asked by Pedro Gaudeau to marry Eugenia Gaudeau.

Gaudeau, Pierre
to Bishop (Luis Penalver y Cardenas) Gaudeau, a native of Punta Cortada and resident of Avoyelles, appeared and stated that he wished to marry Eugenia Gaudeau of the same place but cannot because of an impediment. He asks (Penalver) to receive testimony on these points: that he is the son of Pedro Gaudeau and Maria Dufour, that Eugenia Gaudeau is the daughter of Antonio Gaudeau and Juana Chatelerau, that Pedro's father and Eugenia's father are sons of Miguel (Gaudeau) and Teresa Duche; that they and their fathers are poor, cultivating the soil.
