Notes: Exhibition Hall was the performance space in the new
Academy of Music. The Exhibition hall will not be referred to as
Washington Hall until Sept 16 of 1882. The play was performed in the
original Greek. Of special interest were the three electric lamps which
illuminated the entire hall. This was the first time a Greek play had
been performed west of the Alleghenies.
